Edgars Lao joined CBL Asset Management in 2007. Since 2011 he is a manager of internationally recognized CBL Eastern Europe Bond Fund and CBL Global Emerging Markets Bond Fund since its inception in 2013. Since 2023, he is also a co-manager of CBL European Leaders Equity Fund and CBL US Leaders Equity Fund.
In 2015, Edgars was included in Citywire's “Blazing a trail in bonds: top 10 managers of the year so far”. Edgars holds an MBA degree with distinction from Riga Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in finance from BA School of Business and Finance. He is also a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charterholder.

Artis Mežis

Artis Mežis started working in the Citadele group as a risk analyst, later as an equity analyst, after some time he joined the CBL AM bond fund team as a fixed income analyst, whose managed funds have gained international recognition (Morningstar, Lipper). Since 2020, Artis has been involved in the management of pension plans, where Artis is responsible for the search for and evaluation of investments in Europe and the United States, as well as in emerging markets. Since 2023 he is one of the managers of CBL Eastern Europe Bond Fund and CBL Global Emerging Markets Bond Fund. Artis has a PgDip in Finance from the University of Durham (Great Britain).
